The Merida eBig Nine 300SE 504Wh Electric Mountain Bike has a lot to offer, it has this year come equipped with the Shimano STePS E7000 drive unit which boasts a strong 60Nm of torque which means you’ll be able to confidently overcome big gradient changes with ease, it features multiple assistance modes including a walk assist mode which is incredibly handy getting your bike up some stairs or through a section of trail that isn’t quite rideable. You’ll find the Shimano Alivio derailleur offers a smooth smooth gear change even into your steepest easiest gears meaning you can truely focus on the riding. A great feature of the Shimano StePS E8010 battery is that it can charge to 80% capacity in just 2.5 hours and 5 hours for a complete charge. Everything is as simple as possible to use, you can select different assistance modes with the display and the motor will assist you automatically as soon as you begin pedalling – with pedal assist it has never been easier to start riding. In line with the comfortable design and step-through frame Merida have equipped this bike with 100mm of suspension in the front helping you maintain plenty of grip in looser conditions and keeping things comfortable and steady on those longer more leisurely rides.
