Product Description
It’s all about lightweight for kids. Merida care as much about their kids’ bikes as those in the adult range; all components are as light and child-focused as possible. They use 1x drivetrains with rapid-fire shifters to make shifting simple and, again, reduce the overall weight.
Key features:
- 6061 aluminium tubing frame and forks reduce weight while keeping them strong
- Tektro hydraulic brakes allow he rider to control their speed
- Shimano 8-speed drivetrain offers smooth and consistent shifting
- Wide tyres give better contact with the ground and better traction
- Weight: Approx 10.5kg
- Size: 24” wheels
- Colours: Purple, Red, Yellow
- The Merida Matts is available with 0% APR finance
The Matts Junior + bikes have rigid forks as cheap suspension forks tend to work poorly and weigh a lot. Instead we use fat 2.4″ tyres to provide plenty of comfort and grip.
All bikes have a focus on longevity; not just the high quality paint finish, protected by a lacquer coat to keep the bike looking fresh for hand me downs or sale but also the flip-flop stem and spacers allowing for growth, extending the life of Matts Junior+ bikes.S uits heights from approx. 129-137 cm.
Fat 2.4″ tyres provide plenty of comfort and grip, 8 speeds with rapid-fire shifters keep things simple and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes take care of the stopping.
