Merida have chosen to kit this bike out with Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes meaning you can have confidence in all conditions knowing you’ve got a reliable braking system that stops when when you need to. The Merida Matts 7.20 Women’s mountain bike features a lightweight aluminium frame with a 135 x 9mm axle standard. You’ll find more natural trails with tree roots and loose rocks quite comfortable with the Suntour XCT30 HLO fork which has 100mm of travel and a lockout function meaning you’ll easily be able to find the sweet spot no matter the terrain, keeping things comfortable and efficient – a huge benefit to this fork.
